Tutoring for students from
primary school & secondary school
- Primary school: Extra help with English, from reading comprehension to spelling and grammar. We practice in a playful way, so that self-confidence grows. Also ideal preparation for the transition test (Cito).
- Secondary school (vmbo-basis, kader and TL/havo/vwo): Support with the English subject, help with learning to learn (including planning homework, exam preparation and exam training). Together we bring structure to the chaos, so that the mountain of homework becomes manageable again.
MBO & HBO guidance
Support with study skills, thesis supervision and subject-specific tutoring for MBO and HBO students. Get the most out of your studies with targeted guidance.
Frequently asked questions
- Where are lessons held? Online, at your place (The Hague and surroundings, max. 10 km) or at mine — whatever works best for you.
- Do you teach children and adults? Yes. I teach all ages and levels: from primary school through to adults and professionals.
- Can you teach me in English? Of course. I also teach in Spanish, French, and German.
- What if I need to cancel? No problem — as long as you give at least 24 hours' notice. If I cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you'll receive a free lesson as compensation.
- Is VAT included? No — as a qualified teacher I am VAT-exempt. What you see is what you pay.
The result?
Better grades are nice, but my real goal is to make learning Dutch fun and easy, so you can say: "Natuurlijk kan ik dit!" ("Of course I can do this!")
Tutoring Dutch as a Second Language (NT2)
Tutoring for anyone who wants to learn Dutch or improve their language skills. I will help you find your way in the Dutch language and culture.
When living in The Netherlands, a certain level of Dutch is not only useful, but also necessary if you want to be have a job or study. Also, as part of the process of becoming a citizen ('inburgering') , you must have a basic level of Dutch; the levels range from A1 to C2.
I can help you with the language, and I am also familiar with the language proficiency exams as well as the Nt2 curriculum. I would be very happy to help you prepare for the 'inburgerings' exam!
Besides English and Dutch, I also speak Spanish, French and German fluently. It doesn't matter if you don't speak any Dutch yet: we'll start in your language and gradually move towards Dutch.

I value structure and a clear working method, both for myself and for my students. That's why I prepare all my lessons down to the last detail — alongside each lesson, every student receives a personal learning folder containing the PowerPoints from our sessions, (additional) homework and lesson materials, and a log in which I record what we've covered after every lesson. That way, we both keep track of the ongoing learning journey!
